Equipment Operator

Kleysen Group is looking for reliable, safety minded individual to join our Edmonton Distribution Centre in a Full-Time Permanent Equipment Operator position. Our Edmonton yard facility spans over 80 developed acres with rail services into our yard so that we can load and offload a variety of commodities including steel, construction materials, bulk and liquid products. The Equipment Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating various types of heavy equipment to perform tasks such as loading and unloading commodity, excavation, material handling, and earthmoving. 

The Shift: 11.5-hour day shifts (6AM – 5:30PM) 5 on 4 off/4 on 5 off mixture

The position:

Load and unload a variety of commodities on and off truck and/or rail.

Experienced in operating loaders and other heavy equipment such as forklifts

Operate and control the rail king and shunt/reposition tractors to move rail cars.
