Equipment Operator

Job Summary:

Handles and efficiently operates Ground Support Equipment by the manufacturer and customer airline(s) requirements to ensure safe and secure operations.

Role Functions and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the safe operation of the equipment assigned.
• Conducts equipment physical and operational checks, accomplishes checklist, and ensures good operational condition upon acceptance
• Tows all cargo and baggage pushcarts to and from the cargo warehouse and baggage build-up area.
• Ensures that the cargo towed-out is accepted by the DS-Ramp assigned at the planes
• Safely operates and connects the Ground Services Equipment to the aircraft
• Performs the required brake checks before approaching the aircraft
• After operations, safely parks the equipment to their respective parking areas, accomplishes checklist and complies with the proper turnover procedures.
