This position supports Central Transport and Equipment Services by providing the necessary information to patient/specimen transport and delivery if patient related equipment. It requires dispatchers to input verbal data into a departmental specific database, to retrieve said data and dispatch it as assignments to escort/messenger staff. It demands a high level of attention to detail, for accuracy of information as well as speed in this fast-paced environment. This position also requires a pleasant, courteous and professional telephone manner at all times.
