ESD Sustainability Engineer

We are an Australian engineering company specializing in Environmentally Sustainable Design (ESD) for buildings, manufacturing, and electronics projects. We help clients achieve energy efficiency, water conservation, low-impact materials, and compliance with Australian sustainability standards (e.g., Green Star, NatHERS, passive design principles).

You'll support our growth on a flexible, independent contractor basis. This is a project-based/remote role with potential for ongoing retainer work (30–40 hours/week equivalent). Ideal for an engineer or sustainability professional who enjoys wearing multiple hats and using tools like Zoho to streamline operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical ESD Support — Assist with sustainability assessments, energy/water modeling, ESD reports, design reviews, and compliance recommendations using simulation tools or standards knowledge.

Content Marketing — Create engaging content on ESD topics (e.g., blog posts, LinkedIn...
