Environment, Social, Governance (ESG)

• Monitoring our ESG performance and providing monthly and annual reports to internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, and investors.
• Managing and improving our ESG performance at corporate and site levels.
• Overseeing UGEP's Environmental, Social and Governance Management System (ESGMS).
• Providing ESG training to our staff, and offering to contractors and suppliers.
• Reviewing ESG issues associated with new projects, and coordinating our management of any potential adverse impacts and risks.
• Managing external consultants particularly environmental, agricultural and biodiversity commissioned e.g. to prepare Environmental Compliance Certificates (ECCs), Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIAs) for different projects.
