Responsible for ensuring both price competitiveness and the best cost available through internal and external data analysis. Extracts and analyzes competitive data to understand market behavior and identify pricing opportunities, proposing retail tests accordingly. Performs price optimization modeling by price zone, considering pricing elasticities, strategies, category roles, and pricing rules such as minimum margin, competitive index, GBB pricing gaps, and product families.

Participates in strategic vendor negotiations and supports optimal product cost decisions, while leading additional projects that drive pricing and cost efficiency. Oversees and develops the Analyst Senior and Trainee team, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary tools, data knowledge, and strategic understanding to contribute effectively to the company’s pricing and cost objectives.
