Estimating Head

The Estimating Head is the overall in-charge of tasks below:

• Studies/reviews plans and bid documents
• Measures quantities and make detailed estimate in excel file
• Prepares bid queries and clarification with consultant
• Requests quotation from supplier
• Prepares bill of quantities and costing
• Prepares cost analysis and project schedule
• Prepares & finalized technical proposal
• Prepares & finalized financial proposal w/ the president's approval
• Attends pre-bid and post bid meetings
• Conducts project site inspection
• Supervises estimators/quantity estimators/assistant head
• Attends negotiation meeting
• Prepares project budget (abbc)
• Maintains orderly and systematic records and files
• Prepares and conducts kick-off meeting with project team
