Estimator (Architect)

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Study the plans, specifications of particular application and other contract requirements of projects that are for bidding.
• Quantity takes off of materials based on the given plans and bill of quantities of the projects that are for bidding.
• Prepare detailed unit cost estimates or the detailed unit price analysis (DUPA) for projects that are for bidding
• Assist in canvassing and in getting the current prevailing prices of materials and services with respect to the specific project requirements.
• Assist in preparing technical and tender documents.
• Attend Pre-bid/Meeting/Site Inspection (if needed).

REQUIREMENTS

Education Attainment: Bachelor's Degree in Architecture candidates who are licensed will have an advantage.

Years of related work exp.: Minimum of 3 years experience as Estimator in construction.
