An exciting opportunity has become available for an Estimator to join a well-established Tier 1 Main Contractor based in the heart of Birmingham. As part of the company's continued growth plans, they are looking to strengthen their cohesive estimating team within the wider preconstruction department.

Role Overview

The Estimator will oversee commercial activities with strong commercial awareness, identifying opportunities to enhance value throughout the lifecycle of the project. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering accurate and high-quality net cost estimates in line with project requirements.

The role includes pricing selected trade packages from first principles using agreed company outputs, preparing detailed handover documentation for the delivery team, and undertaking project take-offs to the required level of detail, including measurements in accordance with SMM7 for agreed trades.
