Job Responsibilities Responsible for the production of estimates or part estimates under the appropriate cost code of accounts as required by the contract or requested by the Chief Estimator or Manager, Project Controls. Ensures estimates are produced to required technical quality. Ensure historical/statistical data are collected in a format suitable for use on future estimates. Ensure maintenance and development of technical work practices as delegated by the Chief Estimator or Manager, Project Controls. Allocated projects, irrespective of size, that requires a capital cost estimate to be conducted, has the appropriate documentation in place required to record the estimate methodology and basis, the cost estimate itself, and necessary backup documentation. Estimate documentation is consistent in format and presentation.
