Qualifications 7 - 10 years experience in the Sea/Air/Road Freight Imports and Exports environment Computer Literate MS Office Suite Knowledge of Excel Numerically literate Proactive and Tenacious Knowledge of the Logistics Market Transporters, Shipping Lines, Airlines, Packaging Companies, Inspections etc Calm, organised and able to work well under pressure Responsibilities Deal directly with customers either by telephone, e-mail, face to face on their costing requirements Put together commercial offers for seafreight, airfreight, roadfreight ( FCL/LCL/Groupage/Charter/Courier/Breakbulk) Obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle enquiries Strong knowledge on requirements into the rest of Africa eg Form M, Pre-shipment inspections etc Process quotations, submission of tenders to tender desk for completion, daily status report upon request of manager Able to work with large data points Direct requests and unresolved issues to the designated resource Keep records of customer...
