• Analyse requirement documents, drawings, and project plans to gain a full understanding of the project.
• Determine production factors that will influence the cost of a service or product.
• Prepare material quotes and cost proposals for products or services.
• Create labour cost estimates for various projects.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and subcontractors.
• Manage vendor and subcontractor bids.
• Use bid data to prepare detailed cost analyses.
• Present prepared estimates to management and key stakeholders.
