Ethical Standards Manager

About the role

As the Ethical Standards Manager, you will provide high level advice on fraud and corruption risks and research, plan and conduct investigations into suspected corrupt conduct, serious breaches of legislation and organisational policy. Working as part of a team, you will also conduct internal audits and play a key role in developing strategies that prevent and detect any corrupt conduct.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out investigations across council operations and providing expert advice on ethical standards matters
• Exercising sound judgement and decision-making throughout complex investigative processes
• Designing and applying effective methods to identify fraud and corruption
• Recommending and driving improvements to strengthen fraud and corruption prevention practices
