Job Description

Become an integral part of Michipicoten First Nation as a temporary Executive Assistant, providing pivotal administrative support to Chief and Council. Engage in community relations while managing documentation effectively.

This full-time role requires a proactive individual with five years of executive administrative experience and a solid understanding of First Nations governance. Responsibilities include coordination of meetings, preparation of Council documents, and maintaining a Council meeting calendar. Some evening work and travel may be needed, along with potential remote work considerations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Schedule and coordinate Council and Committee meetings
• Process and distribute meeting minutes and documents promptly
• Organize in-person meetings at the Band Hall
• Ensure Council documents are well-managed and accessible
• Support Community Engagement and membership activities
