HEAD CHEF / SENIOR CHEF – SEAWEED & SALT (KALK BAY)

Seaweed & Salt is looking for an exceptional Chef to lead our kitchen alongside a passionate team in one of Kalk Bay's most vibrant seaside restaurants.

This role is for a serious creative — someone who understands flavour, seasonality, and consistency, and who takes pride in both innovation and execution.

What we're looking for:

• A qualified chef with formal culinary training
• Proven experience at reputable restaurants (references from previous establishments required and contactable)
• A strong creative palate with the ability to develop fresh, exciting dishes while respecting the identity of the brand
• Up-to-date knowledge of current industry trends, food culture, and modern kitchen practices
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a kitchen team
