Executive Director of Operations

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

Direct and manage the operation of all support services of the district, including safety and security, risk management, child nutrition, district-wide contract management, school boundary alignment, maintenance, custodial, grounds, and student transportation. Serve as an advisor to the chief financial officer, superintendent, and board of trustees.

Education/Certification:

·Bachelor or master’s degree in a business-related field or educational administration preferred

·Texas Association of School Business Officials certification preferred

Special Knowledge/Skills:

·Strong communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills

·Knowledge of risk management program development

·Knowledge of Texas workers’ compensation code

·Knowledge of student demographics and school boundary alignment
