Job Description
For 15 years, the Canadian Artists Network (CAN), a registered charity, has offered older professional artists information, programs, opportunities and support to ensure they can continue to practice their art. To date, CAN has connected with almost 3,000 older professional artists, in communities across the country, and in every artistic discipline.
CAN is looking for an energetic professional who has the skills and tenacity to ensure a small NGO can grow and develop. You are a strong communicator, and have fundraising experience. You have a range of skills, but can learn new ones. You are engaged and engaging. If you are bilingual, that’s a big plus.
The Executive Director is the only compensated role at CAN. Reporting to the Board of Directors through its Chair, the Executive Director’s responsibilities include:
