About the Organization

The Union of British Columbia Municipalities (UBCM) is the collective voice of local governments across the province of British Columbia. For more than a century, this highly regarded member association has represented local governments of all sizes. UBCM plays a central role in advancing shared interests through policy development, government relations, and sector‑wide collaboration. Its mission is grounded in being the recognized advocate for local government in British Columbia while meeting the evolving needs of its members through advisory services, training and information sharing.

Role Overview
