Key Accountabilities:

Assisting the Section Head in overseeing the efficient operation of cash management and management accounting functions, encompassing month end closing, payment processing, collections, and reconciliations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintaining an accurate and effective general ledger, including fixed assets, accounts payable, and accounts receivable sub-ledgers.
• Preparing and processing payments and collections.
• Conducting timely bank and key account reconciliations.
• Preparing and posting journal entries for the month end closing.
• Preparing daily cash flow to ensure timely execution of payments and fund transfers.
• Processing claims for staff reimbursements.
• Processing payments for direct and indirect taxes.
• Performing additional ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor as required.
