**What's the role?**
The role of a Executive Producer is to be responsible ultimately for building all the elements required for a one-hour host-led opinion show and putting it to air. The role involves constant discussion with the host on which stories to cover, which guests to chase and which vision to use.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Lead and supervise a small team putting together a unique program with a wide variety of topical news, politics and current affairs stories to build a show packed with entertaining content.
+ Compile rundowns and output shows live from the control room, communicating with pilots, TDs, host, reporters and guests, while last-minute changes under pressure.
+ Book guests and studios and manage talent in the newsroom, finding fresh faces where possible.
