Job Description
The role focus on operations & maintenance of StarHubs submarine cable systems to ensure the delivery of optimal quality & providing continuity of traffic and deliver colo customers facilities and interconnection requests. a. Oversees the implementation of telecommunications system in the StarHub cable landing station. b. Works as a team member to operate and maintain telecommunications equipment and submarine cable communication systems in the cable station. c. Tests, implements, and troubleshoots submarine cable communication equipment and links. d. Develops and administers the operation procedures for cable station, consortia equipment, co-location and interconnection. e. 24 x 7 standby with on call duties for cable station operations requirement, submarine cable systems (dry and wet segment) fault localizations and fault repair supports and coordination. f.
