Job Summary
The Subcontracting Executive is responsible for managing subcontractor engagement and payments throughout the project lifecycle. Key responsibilities include preparing cost estimates and requesting quotations, negotiating and awarding contracts based on competitive pricing, reviewing and verifying invoices and additional claims, and sourcing and registering new subcontractors as needed. The role also involves monitoring subcontractor payments, managing resident contractors’ work permits, evaluating subcontractor performance and workmanship, setting up tariffs and term contracts for common work scopes, and assisting in full and final settlements with subcontractors.
