Job Purpose

• The role involves providing technical accounting expertise to ensure accurate and timely account closures. This includes data analysis and managing communications with both internal and external parties regarding Domestic and International Treaties of Malaysian Reinsurance Bhd (MRE), Malaysian Re Retakaful Division (MRRD) and MNRB Retakaful Bhd (MRT) run-off account.
• Responsibilities also encompass following up on statement of accounts, cash call credits, deposit reserves, and outstanding loss reserves for inwards treaties to facilitate proper account and claims booking. The position supports the credit control team in reducing UCI, prepares binder accounts, updates pairing processes in SICS, and assists with settlement reconciliation. Additionally, the role handles ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the AVP or Head of Department.
