Job Purpose:
Responsible for the operation and maintenance of the core transmission (TXN) network, ensuring high availability and performance. The role includes Level-1 support for fiber and optical systems, coordination with vendors on fiber faults, supervision of fiber patrolling, and preventive maintenance of optical nodes. It also involves executing rehabilitation and field projects, ensuring power availability at critical optical nodes, maintaining fiber losses as per design, managing SLAs, handling RoW renewals, and ensuring timely acceptance of fiber and optical TXN equipment.
