Lance Richman, Consulting, LLC (Consultancy) will focus on supporting Pacific Island Countries and Territories (PICTs) in establishing effective mechanisms to minimize the adverse impacts of hazardous material imports and to develop proper management of chemical products.
The Consultancy will support PICTs to improve Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) management by:
- investing in activities that will serve to strengthen governance of HAZMAT,
- building capacity of PICTs to ensure systems and processes are implemented to protect human health and the environment
- supporting investment and maintenance of HAZMAT management infrastructure.
- building capacity and support PICTS to effectively remediate legacy hazardous materials and sites.
