Exercise Physiologist - Cardiac Rehab - Day

**Schedule**
Full Time, Day Shift (80 hours biweekly)
Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm
Rotation: No Weekend / No Holidays

**General Summary**

Provides assessment, treatment, testing, and education to cardiac patients and their families. Develops, implements and coordinates clinical exercise programs. Assists in the development and oversight of exercise programs in cardiac, pulmonary and metabolic patients.

**Essential Functions:**

+ Evaluates patients' functional abilities and limitations to determine appropriate intervention.
+ Implements individualized exercise plans that consider patient's physical and age-specific needs and abilities. Ensures that treatment plans are supported by standard practices and/or current literature.
+ Re-evaluates treatment plan, as needed, to ensure patient safety and maximal patient benefit.
