Experienced 2nd Class Engineer Needed

Northumberland Ferries Limited is looking for an experienced 2nd Class Engineer to support our vessels' operations. This full-time role combines active sailing with vital maintenance tasks year-round.
In this pivotal position, you will collaborate with the Chief Engineer to ensure the effective operation of all machinery aboard. Your responsibilities will include supervising the engine room team, overseeing maintenance tasks, and adhering to safety regulations. Your proactive approach will help maintain our commitment to quality and safety throughout operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor machinery as Engineer of the watch
• Conduct regular maintenance and inspections
• Delegate and supervise tasks on watch
• Track and report mechanical issues immediately
• Keep detailed maintenance and operational logs
