Experienced Child and Youth Outreach Counsellor Role available

Join the mission to aid children and youth in mental health crises as an Outreach Counsellor. Provide immediate clinical responses and therapeutic interventions to uplift at-risk youth effectively.
As an Outreach Counsellor, you will assess, triage, and respond to the urgent mental health needs of children and youth. Your experience will guide youth towards vital community resources and facilitate coordination with other services. A strong background in crisis intervention and an understanding of mental health laws will be key to your success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and screen for urgent mental health needs
• Provide stabilization and therapeutic services
• Coordinate care with community service organizations
• Evaluate psychosocial and environmental impact
• Engage in priority planning for outreach services
