The purpose of the General Ledger (GL) accountant is to ensure correct accounting information and reporting mainly in the area of inventory and intercompany. You will gather and verify the accuracy of financial data and reconcile accounts. This role also ensures that strong controls are applied in compliance with the company’s SOX and internal control framework.

**Tasks and responsibilities**
**What You’ll Do:**

+ Prepare and review reconciliations (monthly, quarterly) on inventory and intercompany accounts.
+ Reconciling accounts with the general ledger.
+ Execute month- and quarter end closing activities – perform account analysis to make sure entries and balances are correct.
+ Analyze and interpret financial information to provide assurance that information complies with professional and regulatory standards.
