Experienced Inland Marine Underwriter

Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (‘BHSI’) has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Inland Marine Underwriter in our Calgary Office, located at Calgary Place 1, Suite #1910, 330 5 Ave SW, Calgary, AB T2P 0L4. This position is a great fit for a 3+ year, experienced underwriter looking to expand their responsibilities and underwriting knowledge and grow a book of business. We are seeking an individual who is hard working, team oriented, passionate and always striving towards excellence. The candidate must be able to learn new products and have the ability to work both independently and to collaborate with all levels and all disciplines. Ideally, the candidate will have experience in Inland Marine lines (including Builders Risk, Contractors’ Equipment and Motor Truck Cargo). The title of the role will be commensurate with the level of experience of the successful candidate. This is a full time, permanent and in-office position.
