Position Summary
Under the administrative direction of the Manager, WIL and Experiential Learning, the Experiential Learning Coordinator (ELC) identifies, cultivates, and maintains relationships with community partners, with the objective of sourcing experiential education (EE) opportunities that support the goals and curriculum of an assigned Faculty and related transdisciplinary work.
The incumbent supports efforts to enhance the employability and success of Seneca Polytechnic students and graduates by increasing the number of high-quality EE opportunities available for students and reducing barriers to student participation in EE.
The incumbent will coordinate the effective operations of ongoing EE projects and opportunities in accordance with faculty and partner requirements, review student eligibility for and process EE related stipends and external grants and utilize strategies and tools to create a variety of project records and reports. <...
