Expert – HVDC

EGI wishes to reinforce its team working on Infrastructure. To achieve this, we are looking for an experienced HVDC expert to join our HVDC competency center. In this role you will support the design, development, and delivery of advanced solutions for the integration of renewable energy, HVDC and FACTS systems. You will build relationships with industry players and collaborate directly with utilities, project developers and system operators. You will be an integral part of a team of HVDC and FACTS experts within our Infrastructure Design and Specification solution.

Responsibilities

• Support all technical aspects related to HVDC and FACTS transmission projects including specification development, technology solution evaluation, contract negotiation, design review, factory witness testing of major equipment, control and protection system design and factory testing, commissioning, operational readiness, and operation and maintenance of the HVDC and FACTS systems...
