What does Expert Internal Controls do?

• Design & Implementation: Own the Second Line responsibility for designing, maintaining, and overseeing a standardised, fit-for-purpose global internal control framework, ensuring alignment with COSO and VEON's strategic objectives, while overseeing its consistent adoption by the First Line.
• Policy & Standards: Define, maintain, and communicate global internal control policies, standards, and guidance, providing Second Line clarity and direction to ensure consistent application across the Group.
