Exploration Geologist (GIT)

Exploration Geologist (GIT) DET00516 Reporting to the Senior Exploration Geologist, you will be part of the Exploration Department. Your responsibilities include providing geological support to the exploration team that focuses on logging drill holes using current software while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in assuring the quality control and quality assurance of samples;

Monitor and evaluate geological and assay data quality;

Ensure geological data is collected to specified standards and QA/QC protocol is followed;

Complete field visits to drill sites to check drill site locations and ensure drill and exploration programs are conducted to high standards, with samples collected and transported to the assay lab efficiently;
