Exploration Safety Lead (Providencia)

Key Responsibilities

• Safety Culture System Management & Policy: Direct and control the execution of Corporate Safety Programs to safeguard personnel and company assets across all exploration sites. Supervise the implementation of updated Safety Policies, ensuring all stakeholders (employees and contractors) are aligned with a Zero LTI mindset.
• Talent Development: Oversee safety induction, orientation, and specialized training for new hires, ensuring they are prepared for the risks of field work.
• Drilling Operations Oversight: Manage safety protocols and contractor audits specifically for Diamond (DDH) and Reverse Circulation (RC) drilling projects in Chile and Argentina.
• Critical Logistics & Aviation: Manage safety standards and protocols and contractor audits for helicopter operations (personnel transport/slings) and defensive drive/off-road vehicle fleet management in desert and mountain terrains.
