Extendicare Care Leadership Role

Elevate the quality of life for residents as the Director of Care at Extendicare in Central South, Ontario. This full-time leadership position focuses on service excellence and compliance.

In this role, you will guide a skilled team, ensuring every resident receives tailored, attentive care. Accountability for care operations, adherence to accreditation standards, and strong engagement with residents and families will be your focus. You will lead quality improvement efforts, ensuring a compassionate and safe environment for all.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead daily operations of the resident care team
• Facilitate ongoing staff training and support
• Manage financial stewardship and nursing budgets
• Conduct compliance monitoring and action planning
• Address and mitigate clinical risks swiftly

Requirements:
• Bachelor's in Nursing; Master's degree preferred
• Registered Nurse with current Ontario license
