External Auditor

Description

Serves as the team lead for the group that oversees daily operations and supports the audit manager in a variety of audit engagements, including the planning, executing, directing and completing financial audits. Responsible for providing guidance and expertise to Senior Auditors and professional staff.

Principal Responsibilities

• Highly involved in planning and performing financial audits using firm's audit methodology.
• Oversees the audit engagements' progress and execution of planned procedures.
• Effectively apply knowledge in audit, accounting, and financial reporting standards and other regulatory requirements to the assigned jobs, specific to clients' concerns and determine where they may impact the client.
• Apply knowledge of the firm's audit methodology to perform and document the result of audit work using the firm's audit tool.
• Identifies audit issues and escalates to the partners as necessary.
