Scope of Work / Terms of Reference

• Conduct an independent audit of the bank’s financial statements in accordance with international standards on Auditing (ISA), International Financial Reporting standards (IFRS), the companies Act, 2019 (Act 992) and the Banks and Speiclised deposit-taking institutions Act, 2016 (Act 930)

• Undertake extensive auditing of the bank’s and operational activities, test-check the adequacy of internal control systems and provide professional advice as required

• Express an independent opinion on whether the bank’s financial statements present a true and fair view of its financial position

• Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of the bank’s internal control and risk management systems and report any weaknesses with recommendations for improvement
