Job Description

                    SA - Western Cape, Cape Town - CBD (Medical aid / Provident Fund / Cell / Fuel)My client is seeking an External Sales Consultant to join their dynamic team in Cape Town.
Minimum requirements:

Matric

Tertiary qualification in Maritime studies / Import / Export advantages

Minimum of 6 years experience in shipping or similar environment

At least 2 years experience in ships agency sales

Valid drivers license

Client visits 

New business development, identify and secure new clients

Client retention by maintain existing relationships

Filing and checking of SQs

Freight applications: Apply for rates, routings, feeder space, waivers, etc.

Provide customers with freight rate quotations

Provide customer support, i.e. handling of shipment and service queries if required.

Liaise with Principal on BIZ matters
