Position: Extruder - 2nd shift
Pay Rate: $19/hr
Hours: Monday through Friday 2:15 pm - 10:45 pm
Location: San Marcos, Ca

Extruder - Job Description:

• Operator monitors extrusion machine and oversees melting of hot compound
• Load the hopper with appropriate compound, preparation and set-up of extrusion machine; select correct tooling, calculate diameter, set-up correct temperature for perfect finish.
• Operator cleans machine barrel, head, tools, prior to starting a new job, or a new type of compound.

• Requires wearing safety glasses and working gloves. Other personal protective equipment may be required on a case-by-case basis.
