Fabric Development

Role Overview
GROOVY is building full control over its jersey fabric supply chain. We are looking for a Jersey R&D & Supply Chain Manager who can manage the process end-to-end — from yarn sourcing to knitting, dyeing, finishing, and final fabric approval.
This role is responsible for fabric quality, consistency, cost control, and development of new jersey materials aligned with GROOVY's product roadmap.
This is a hands-on, execution-driven role requiring strong on-ground coordination with mills, knitters, and dye houses.
Key Responsibilities
1. Yarn Sourcing & Procurement
Source and evaluate yarn suppliers (cotton, blended, recycled, specialty yarns).
Manage yarn specifications: count, ply, twist, fiber composition.
Negotiate pricing, MOQs, and lead times.
Plan yarn procurement aligned with production calendars.
2. Knitting Process Management
Coordinate with knitting units for jersey fabrics (single jersey, rib, interlock, pique, etc.).
