Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Fabric General Manager with 15–20 years of strong hands-on experience in Yarn and Knit Fabric manufacturing. The candidate must have deep knowledge of yarn sourcing, yarn quality parameters, yarn costing, and its impact on knitting efficiency and fabric quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Yarn Management (Mandatory Focus Area)
Lead yarn procurement strategy and vendor negotiations.
Ensure optimal yarn selection based on fabric specifications.
Monitor yarn quality parameters (count, strength, twist, contamination control).
Control yarn wastage and improve yarn utilization efficiency.
Coordinate closely with spinning mills and suppliers.
Fabric & Knitting Operations
Oversee knitting production, processing, finishing, and dispatch.
Improve machine efficiency and reduce downtime.
