We are looking for an experienced and market-savvy Fabric Sourcing & Procurement Specialist to join our team.
The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of fabrics, fabric qualities, local textile markets, suppliers, and pricing. The role primarily involves sourcing and purchasing fabrics for our company while ensuring the best quality at competitive rates.
Responsibilities
Source fabrics, trims, and related materials from local markets and suppliers.
Identify reliable vendors and build strong supplier relationships.
Evaluate fabric quality, composition, weight, feel, shrinkage, and suitability for production.
Negotiate prices and payment terms with suppliers.
Compare multiple fabric options and recommend the best choice based on quality and cost.
