Summary
This is an hourly-rated position at the American Bridge Manufacturing (ABM) facility, shift hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm.  ABM is an AISC Certified Fabricator that supports all heavy civil construction projects for the Southland Holdings family of companies, including American Bridge Company.   Senior Welder / Fabricators are responsible for performing a variety of activities related to structural steel fabrication including layout, fitup, welding, grinding, carbon arc, material processing, etc..

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

+ Demonstrated welding experience with at least one, but preferably all, of the following processes:  FCAW-G (Flux Core), SMAW (Stick), SAW (Sub Arc).

+ Demonstrated welding experience in welding: carbon steel, aluminum, stainless steel

+ Demonstrated experience with air-arc gouging.
