Facilities Engineer

Job Objectives

• The Facilities Engineer assumes the responsibility in maintenance of all the buildings and facility equipment of the company.
• Working under minimum supervision, the Facilities Engineer leads in monitoring building and facilities operations and performance

Roles and Responsibilities

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL:

• Monitors the facility's conditions to ensure that it remains safe, secured, and well-maintained.
• Identifies, diagnoses, and corrects facility operating system's problems; performs preventive and corrective maintenance
• Maintains facility's electrical and mechanical operating system including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, air-conditioning, and fire appliances
• Prepares maintenance plans and schedule, and ensures records are kept
• Interprets structural, civil, electrical, and mechanical drawings
• Reviews work orders and ensure completion of the approved ones.
