Facilities Officer

Our client operates a national biomedical research facility supporting high containment and translational research critical to public health preparedness. They are seeking a hands-on Facilities Officer / Technician to support day-to-day technical operations and ensure a safe, reliable facility environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage receiving, storage and issuance of engineering materials, equipment, consumables and critical spare parts while maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Support daily facility inspections, monitor engineering system readings and assist with first-level troubleshooting and fault reporting.
• Assist in implementing safety procedures, permit-to-work controls and safe work practices during maintenance and contractor activities.
• Maintain facility documentation including maintenance logs, checklists, service reports and contractor compliance records.
