Facility Operator - Wasaga Stars Arena (Temporary Full Time – 1 Existing Position) INTERNAL / EXTERNAL JOB POSTING The Town of Wasaga Beach is seeking temporary full-time Facility Operator for the Wasaga Stars Arena, for a 2-to-3-month contract to cover for operator leave of absence.  The successful candidate will be required to learn the operations of the Wasaga Stars Arena, and Wasaga Beach Public Library,  and other municipally owned facilities as well as having a general knowledge of other facility cleaning, ice maintenance, general repairs and building maintenance.

The Wasaga Stars Arena is a seven day a week operation with hours of operation 7 am to 12 midnight.  The successful candidate will be required to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays, and have the ability to work overtime on short notice.  Facility staff at the Wasaga Stars Arena work a nine (9) hour schedule and rotate weekends off.   ...
