Faculty Position

The Department of Computing at the Universidad de Ingeniería y Tecnología - UTEC, Lima, Peru, invites applications for a full-time faculty position (teaching and research).

Once hired, the successful candidate will be expected to develop and teach courses at the undergraduate level, to obtain competitive external funding, to establish an effervescent cross-disciplinary research program, and to contribute through service to the profession, to the department, and to UTEC. Applicants having a good scholarly work are encouraged to apply.

Minimum requirements:

• Ph.D. or Master's in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven track record of scholarly publications.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience teaching classes (Deep Learning or Software Engineering)
• Grant proposal writing experience;
• Demonstrated interest in working with academic and/or community partners.
