Overview Piedmont Midtown Columbus, FT The Faculty Psychologist is responsible for teaching psychological and behavioral medicine principles to family medicine residents and faculty. Major areas of responsibility include curriculum development, residency administration, and clinical practice. Responsibilities BEHAVIORAL SCIENCE CURRICULUM Develops and delivers a Behavioral Science Curriculum that is consistent with the guidelines of the Review Committee for Family Medicine. Provides appropriate resident evaluation and feedback. Serves as a resource to residents, faculty, and Midtown hospital for behavioral science problems. Pursues professional development as a psychologist to maintain excellence in teaching psychological principles to family medicine residents. RESIDENCY ADMINISTRATION Works collaboratively with the Family Practice Center (FPC) team and contributes constructively to business and clinical meetings.
