Family Practice

Overview Opportunity for full- or part-time physician at a well-established, full-service family practice that has been in Nanaimo for over 40 years. Very flexible hours and days with no walk-in, weekend, or after-hours required. No on-call duties.

Currently 10 physicians in practice, most of whom practice part-time in clinic and part-time elsewhere (ER, urgent care, maternity, youth clinic, etc.). We are a mix of experienced (>25 years) and new ( Very experienced and supportive front staff. Allied health also available in clinic including social work, counsellor, clinical pharmacist, and respiratory therapist doing spirometry.

Care model and workflow May choose to start own panel of patients, or see overflow patients from existing clinic population. Physicians practice a shared care model, which you must be willing to contribute to.
